Celebrate International Women’s Day with NYWC, The Period Purse & Endometriosis Events

Join our free event in honour of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2023 at the North York Women’s Centre. (116 Industry Street.) IWD is a day to celebrate who we are, what we have achieved, and how to further empower women today.

North York Women’s Centre is collaborating with The Period Purse and Endometriosis Events for this IWD gathering. After all, uterine conditions, menstruation and unaffordable sanitary hygiene products can impact women’s attendance at school and work and by extension, women’s economic advancement.

This interactive session will include information on menstruation, period poverty and endometriosis, including how to promote discussion of these topics with fathers, children, friends and partners. There will be free menstrual products and product presentations. We hope you’ll join us for this welcoming and informative event!
